Grillo is an Italian manufacturer of gardening tools for professionals as well as for the general public. It has a workforce of 150 and a turnover of 30 million Euros.
Grillo engaged Massimiliano Amagliani, Expense Reduction Analysts senior consultant, and Antonio Pisani, energy expert for the Italian network to optimise its electricity costs as the company lacks the expertise in the electricity sector or the internal resources necessary to take on such a project.
To carry out a thorough analysis of this type of budget is extremely complicated due to the nature of the sector. Contracts combine various types of energy as well as different tariffs, both fixed price and market indexed, whose methods of calculation are very different and complex.
